Content of my Website
Home Page
The home page will have a short synopsis of the website and who I am and hope for the employer to enjoy the website
About Me
This page will give a more biography about myself and my family. If the future employers don't like me, they might like my family.
Product/Service
This will be my portfolio. I will have a tab that says to "My Portfolio" and have a landing page for that site. Then within that site I would have the different tabs of what is in the portfolio: Radio ad, Magazine ad, TV Spot, and so on.
I may in the future also have a blog tab that would go to a blog site. It may be a blog that I create or a blog website. I am not sure yet if I want to have a blog, but it could be another part of a product/service in my future.
I can also create a tab that would have my resume. This resume however would not hold personal information like my phone number, address, or social security number (this information they'll have to use another website to get it). I think it would be great to have this on a tab as well then they can look back at the resume if they don't have it on hand.
Contact Me
This would be a way that the future employer or anyone can contact me. I plan to just use my g-mail account and the page would not have too much content.
Links/News
I don't plan to have a links/news tab but I could include the news into my blog. I could also share how far I have left until school or if there is any family news that happens I could share it. I don't think that it will be the best for my website.
Legal Statement
I will definitely will need to have a statement of Copyright (I'm not sure how to do that), Privacy and Term of Use. I will need these aspects so no one steal my ideas or images. I will also need to review what I can and cannot display as a portfolio.
Folder List
I will be using folders to help me keep organized and easy to make references on NetBeans. On the home page I will have 1st the required directories for class then 2nd my own directories for my website after class.
My Required Directories
- Assignments
- CSS
- Images
- Modules
My Own Directories
- My Portfolio
- My Blog
- About Me
- Contact Me

What's Next?
Now that I have this website up and running, I have to ask myself "now what?"
Since this website is about me and what I can do, it would be silly of me to move it to someone else. The toughest part will be to remember to update the projects and about my family. However, if I stay truthful to my cause to find a job, this can be a helpful source for me.
So what I'm getting at is this website is my responsibility.
