Modularization Plan

Purpose

The Modularization Plan will help me stay on track of how my website will be easy for the user NOT TO THINK!!!

List of Modlues

  • Header- This will have the overall feel/banner of me, Robert Bucker! I have yet to discover what type of header/banner I will have on the top of my webpage, but if I make a logo or some sort to brand myself I will go with that.
  • Navigation Bar This will be the key component of my website because without this no one will find what they are looking for. The navigation bar will have the following tabs:
    • Home Page
    • My Portfolio
    • My Assignments (soon to be deleted after the semester)
    • My Blog
    • About Me
    • Contact Me
  • Footer- This footer will hold a link to my copyright policy for my website and also a contact me link. Yes, I know I already have a contact me on my Navgation Bar, but I feel this will give balance to the header and I don't believe it will be distracting and 'make you think which one is which.' If I do get docked down on my grade for it I will be happy to reconsider.

Other Things to Consider

Looking over this plan you may think to yourself "Now Robert, where is your side navigation link?" That is a good question; I plan to have a side navigation link but I do not plan for the side navigation to be the same. For example, the home page will not have a side navigation bar. My portfolio's page side navigation will have the different topics of my protfolio: posters, billboards, TV ads, and so forth. And my assignments page will have the different assignments on the side navigaion. I believe you have the picture.

I do not wish to have an aside pannel because that does not seem to work with what my website will display.
